Ash finally in Kollywood

Tamil filmmakers have been trying really hard to bring Bollywood heroine Aishwarya Rai to Kollywood but in vain. Her busy schedule in Bollywood and Hollywood has kept her away from Tamil audience. This time, a Tamil film starring Aishwarya Rai is set to hit the silver screens.
A remake of Ash’s Bengali film titled ‘Choker Bali’ directed by Rituparno Gosh is going to see the light of the day in Tamil. It is based on a novel written by Rabindranath Tagore. Ash plays the role of a widow who has an adulterous relationship with her friend's husband. She has also acted without a drape on top.
